We heard back from so many happy people, below is an email from Steve that sums up what the general response was;
" Music; excellent bands, very talented musicians who really knew how to
get the most out of the audience and whilst a little folk heavy (for my
tastes) a lovely mix of styles.
Site; sheer bliss, what a lovely venue to have a festival.
Toilets; Clean, green and well maintained, the staff did a sterling job
of maintaining them.
Catering; good food at reasonable prices, what more could you ask.
Booze; good quality and reasonably priced.
Litter; what litter? I have been to a number of festivals where you are
knee deep in litter, I saw none around, whether this was down to the
Bright green team, the superb recycling facilities or even the
responsible behaviour of the punters I don't know but it was an amazing
thing to see.
Security; low key and unobtrusive, excellent.
Staff; what an incredible and dedicated bunch of people, friendly
helpful and really, really welcoming.
And now for, what is for me, the most important thing about any
festival. The atmosphere: I don't know what magic you managed to weave
over the festival site but it worked. Kids running around laughing and
having fun. Camp fires to sit around and chat. Everyone smiling and
happy. An atmosphere of peace and love pervaded that festival site for
the whole weekend and certainly touched everyone that I have spoken to
who went there. This was like climbing into a time machine and going
back to the best of the Albion fayres of old.
I have no idea just how much work there is involved in setting this up
but imagine that it is vast and therefore feel somewhat guilty in
suggesting that it would be great if you felt like doing another one
next year. If you do feel so inclined please let me know as I would hate
to miss out on such an event.
Really just want to close by saying a huge thank you to yourself and
your amazing team for making this happen.
Steve"
