Medley Productions was hired by Hazy Promotions to coordinate the Hazy Green area at the Eastern Haze Festival of 2007.

The 3 acre area was put together from scratch. There were 350 or so brilliant people involved; they gave the field a wonderful feel which was enjoyed by many festival goers and also other organisers.

The creation of this field helped inspire the birth of new projects - amongst them the Green Man Fayre

The experience of Eastern Haze, and of working with Hazy Promotions, gave good insight to how not to run things. Overall, the site was chaos, the security held the event to ransom, those who wanted to be violent or act outside of the law just did. The Green Area was not given any support, but because the area was solar powered and vibrant, was reputed by many to be "the best bit of the event" as it was the area free from aggression, rubbish and mayhem.

Hazy Promotions (Vinny, Seb, Sarah - cheers guys) mislaid / lost about £160,000 and went bankrupt owing a very flexible £190,000 to a large number of organisations, many of whom, including myself, struggled as a consequence.

I learned not to work for liars who want to get rich off the work of others by putting on events they are not able to manage.
